Cheonan City announced on February 10th that it will be promoting the "Support Project for Foreign Residents and Multicultural Families" to help foreign residents settle stably in the local community and provide them with support.
The city will invest 3.6 billion won in 24 projects, including the operation of the Multicultural Family Support Center, the Foreign Resident Integrated Support Call Center, the Foreign Resident Culture Exchange Support Center, and facilities for migrant women who are victims of violence. The city will expand the number of languages for leaflets containing information on living and administrative information for foreign residents from 4 to 16. It will also add a Cheonan City Tour to the "Walking into Cheonan" program, which is currently being operated for newlyweds who are planning to enter the country for the first time, so that they can experience tourist attractions.
