The poetry collection <The Waves Are Not Silent> is a poetry collection (published by Seogyo Publishing) containing 95 poems by Father Paul Park Hong-pyo, a priest of the Wonju diocese and environmental activist, who weaves his life, philosophy, and stories from the world. Part 1 contains 34 episodes including the road to Gwaneumam, the power of love, mother, retreat, etc. under the theme of 'Search for the Lord', and Part 2 contains JUSPEACE (Justice and Peace) by the late Bishop Ji Hak-sun under the theme of 'Into the World'. Social participation related to sports, etc. is mainly done. The final third part consists of poems related to friendship and environmental movements with the theme of ‘the flow of daily life’.
Father Park Hong-pyo is a retired priest, but he is doing his best to protect the environment and ecosystem of the Korean Peninsula, including serving as co-representative of the Catholic Alliance for Nuclear Abolition. Additionally, as a member of the Catholic Priests' Association for Justice, he is actively involved in social justice and peace movements. In addition, Father Park's prayer for a peaceful world where they do not have to participate in reality and a quick return to daily life where everyone can live like a human being is included in this book.
