A tragic accident occurred on Monday, June 23, in Johns Creek, Georgia, where a Korean pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene. The Johns Creek Police Department is currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.

The incident took place around 6:35 AM on June 23, 2025, on McGinnis Ferry Road, west of Technology Circle, in Johns Creek. Police, responding to a call, confirmed that 53-year-old Kevin Choi, a Korean man, had been fatally struck by a vehicle at the scene. Choi was pronounced dead immediately after the accident.

The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and was questioned by the police. The driver was not injured. As of now, the police have not filed any charges against the driver, who has been released. The Johns Creek Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit is continuing its multifaceted investigation to determine the exact cause and responsibility for this incident.
