SEOUL, South Korea — Celebrated South Korean travel YouTuber and television personality KwakTube (33, real name Kwak Joon-bin) officially tied the knot with his non-celebrity fiancée on October 11, 2025. The private ceremony, a joyous occasion made even more special by the news of his bride's pregnancy, took place at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.

KwakTube, who has amassed a substantial following of approximately 2.13 million subscribers on his self-titled YouTube channel, is a leading figure in the travel and vlogging community. His marriage to his fiancée, a civil servant five years his junior, marks a new, highly-anticipated chapter in his life.

The news of the wedding was first publicly shared by KwakTube in a video titled 'A New Chapter of My Life' on his YouTube channel on September 8. He disclosed that while the couple had initially planned to hold the wedding in May of next year, they moved the date up to October after receiving an "even greater blessing."

"We were originally planning for next May, but an even bigger blessing came along, so we moved the wedding up to October," the YouTuber explained to his devoted fanbase. The "bigger blessing" was the news of his wife's premarital pregnancy, an announcement he shared with immense joy, confirming that the couple is expecting a son.

KwakTube, who recently shed 14kg in the lead-up to the ceremony, has often spoken fondly of his partner, whom he met before his rise to widespread fame. The couple had briefly broken up due to his demanding schedule but later reconciled, becoming a greater source of comfort to each other. He has praised his wife for always boosting his self-esteem and giving him confidence, despite her being much younger. The ceremony itself was a private affair, limited to close family and friends to respect the bride's non-celebrity status.

The star-studded guest list featured some of South Korea's top entertainment figures. Esteemed broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo, with whom KwakTube co-hosts the MBN/Channel S variety program Moo No Plan 2, took on the role of the wedding's master of ceremonies. Popular vocal duo Davichi performed the congratulatory song. The close relationship between KwakTube and Davichi is well-known, as they even embarked on a trip to Hong Kong together last year. Actress Ryu Hyun-kyung was among the celebrity guests who shared photos from the joyful event.

Beyond his YouTube career, KwakTube is a familiar face on South Korean television, currently featuring in various programs including Moo No Plan 2 and the ENA/EBS joint production Choo Sung-hoon's Earn Your Keep.

With a successful career and a burgeoning family, the travel creator is now embarking on his biggest adventure yet: married life and fatherhood. The newlyweds are reportedly planning to take a honeymoon trip to Spain. Fans and colleagues have universally extended their warm wishes for the couple as they begin their life as a family of three.
