E-Mart Announces 'March Go-Eat Festa' with Record-Breaking Discounts on Black Pork, Melons, and Abalone

E-Mart has unveiled its "March Go-Eat Festa Spring Magic Sale," promising unprecedented deals on a variety of popular items. The sale, running from February 28th to March 3rd, will feature deep discounts on premium black pork, fresh oriental melons, live abalone, and more.

As part of the "Go-Eat Festa" marketing campaign, E-Mart is highlighting its exclusive Woori Black Pork, a breed developed from native Korean black pigs. Event card holders can enjoy a 40% discount, bringing the price down to 1,800 won per 100g. The retailer is also offering discounts on Geumhandon pork, a premium YBD breed known for its juicy and tender meat, at 1,700 won per 100g.

In addition to pork, E-Mart is offering significant savings on seasonal fruits and seafood. The price of oriental melons and oranges is down 20-30% compared to last year, with 150,000 Seongju honey oriental melons and reduced-price navel oranges sourced directly from the US. Live abalone from Wando is also available at half price for Shinsegae point members.

Traders, E-Mart's warehouse discount store, is also joining the "Go-Eat Festa" for the first time, offering 10 specially selected items, including its popular seasoned beef bulgogi and cockle bibimbap, at discounted prices.

E-Mart reported a successful February "Go-Eat Surprise Sale," with sales up 82% compared to the same period last year. The event saw massive sales of emperor flatfish sashimi, king-size chicken skewers, eggs, and Hallabong citrus fruits.

"The March Go-Eat Festa focuses on spring-themed products and differentiated offerings," said Jeong Yang-oh, head of E-Mart Strategic Marketing Division. "We are pre-releasing representative products to help customers plan their shopping and make smart purchases. We encourage customers to look forward to E-Mart's continued price investments and innovative products throughout the year."
