Seoul, South Korea – The popular KBS2 variety show, 1 Night 2 Days Season 4 (hereinafter referred to as 1N2D), surprised its viewers and cast members alike with a shocking twist in its recent episode. Instead of the promised luxurious vacation, the members found themselves enduring a harsh winter camp.

The episode, which aired on December 22nd, recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 9.4%, a slight increase from the previous week and securing the top spot in its time slot. The peak viewership reached an impressive 13.0% during the scene where Moon Se-yoon attempted to split a log with an axe to acquire survival items for the winter camp.

The show opened with the cast members gathered in a luxurious banquet hall, excited about their upcoming "Happy Hokangseu" (a play on the Korean words for "hotel" and "vacation"). However, the producers had a different plan in mind. Despite enjoying a luxurious limousine ride and a gourmet meal, the members' hopes for a relaxing vacation were quickly dashed.

After a series of challenges and twists, the cast members eventually realized that their "Happy Ho캉스" was actually a "Happy 혹한스" (a play on the Korean words for "freezing cold" and "vacation"), referring to the show's signature winter camp.

The episode ended with the members divided into pairs to compete for survival items. Moon Se-yoon was the first to attempt the challenge, which required him to split a log in half. With this, the show set the stage for a thrilling survival adventure in the harsh winter.

Viewers are eagerly anticipating the next episode to see how the cast members, especially the new members Jo Se-ho, Lee Jun, and Yoo Seon-ho, will adapt to the harsh winter conditions.

1 Night 2 Days Season 4 airs every Sunday at 6:10 PM.
