‘The 3rd Jeonbuk Youth Startup Fair’ to Be Held in Jeonju Hanok Village from Oct. 20 (Tue) to 21 (Wed) Global Live Commerce Linked with ‘Taiwanese Influencers’ and Special Lectures by Chef Oh Se-deuk and Ko Myung-hwan Catch Attention

Jeonbuk State announced on the 16th that it will host the ‘3rd Jeonbuk Youth Startup Fair’ for two days from the 20th to the 21st in the Jeonju Hanok Village area.

Held as part of the ‘2026 J-Startup Festa’, this fair is designed to promote the products and technologies of youth startup companies in the province, expand overseas market channels, and increase investment attraction opportunities.

Under the theme “Connecting Youth Dreams with the Light of Infinite Passion,” this year’s fair goes beyond a simple exhibition-style event. It is organized as a ‘business-linked festival’ where local residents and tourists can enjoy themselves together, while driving substantive overseas market entry and investment attraction for provincial youth companies.

The biggest differentiator of this year’s fair is the youth companies’ ‘entry into the global market’ and ‘expansion of investment opportunities.’ The most eye-catching feature, ‘Global Live Commerce,’ connects with famous Taiwanese influencers to broadcast and sell products from 7 provincial youth companies in real-time to the local Taiwanese market, supporting their overseas expansion.

Programs for investment attraction are also prepared. Starting with the ‘Investment Ecosystem Meetup Day’ on the 20th at Kium Space where startups and investors interact, the ‘Reverse IR Matching Day’—where investors introduce their investment directions and consult with companies—and the ‘Investment IR Pitching Contest’—where startups present their business plans—will be held on the 21st.

Around Daesasupcheong, a ‘Showcase’ featuring products from 30 youth companies and a ‘Mock Investment Challenge’ verifying marketability through mobile QR voting will be held continuously, alongside new contents such as an AI Experience Zone and drone soccer experience.

Special lectures sharing startup experience and management know-how will also take place. On the 20th, Chef Oh Se-deuk, and on the 21st, broadcaster and writer Ko Myung-hwan will give startup insight lectures, followed by a talk concert on survival strategies by senior entrepreneurs and a growth story-sharing session by youth entrepreneurs.

At the Trendy Lounge, ‘Corporate Growth Clinics,’ which are 1:1 customized consultations with experts, and ‘Startup Open Desks,’ offering on-site one-stop counseling, will operate for two days. On the evening of the 20th, ‘Startup Moonlight Salon,’ a night networking event where entrepreneurs, investors, and related organization representatives can freely communicate, will be held.

Based on consumer responses and investment consultation results gathered during the fair, the province plans to support participating companies in product improvement and commercialization, while also promoting follow-up connections with domestic and international buyers and investors.

Yoo Hee-sook, head of the Corporate Attraction Support Bureau of Jeonbuk State, said, “This fair will be an opportunity where the innovative ideas of youths bear fruit in the form of global advancement and investment attraction in the serene setting of Jeonju Hanok Village. We ask for the great interest and participation of local residents and tourists, and we will spare no support so that young entrepreneurs can freely dream and grow in Jeonbuk.”
