Achieves $670,000 in export consultations, $240,000 in contract negotiations

Cheonan City announced on the 30th that it recently held export consultations in Panama and Guatemala, achieving $670,000 in export consultation results and $240,000 in contract negotiations.

The export consultations, supported by Cheonan City and jointly organized by the KOTRA Daejeon Chungnam Support Center Cheonan Branch and local trade offices, were held on the 24th (local time) in Panama and from the 26th to 27th in Guatemala.

Four promising consumer goods export companies participated in the trade delegation: LabtoBottle Co., Ltd., Sensation Beauty Corporation, Misung Metal Co., Ltd., and AdAble Co., Ltd.

Notably, the export consultations in Guatemala were held in conjunction with an international import consultation hosted by the Guatemala Chamber of Commerce (CCG), raising expectations for substantial export expansion in the Central and South American region.

The 'Korea-Guatemala Luncheon Forum,' held on the second day of the Guatemala export consultations, was attended by Guatemalan Vice President Karin Herrera, other government officials, and about 100 Central American buyers.

During the forum, pear distilled liquor from LabtoBottle Co., Ltd., a participant in the trade delegation, was selected as the toast drink, promoting the technological prowess and product excellence of Cheonan companies.

In addition to supporting trade delegations, Cheonan City continues its efforts to strengthen the global competitiveness of local small and medium-sized enterprises by operating various export support programs, including export insurance premium support and overseas branch establishment projects.

A city official stated, "This Central and South American trade delegation holds great significance in pioneering new markets," adding, "We expect this consultation to be a strategic stepping stone for companies wishing to enter the Central American region."
