The San Francisco Friends Cyber Lions Club (President Seung-gu Kang) successfully completed a food distribution volunteer activity for low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities at the Marin Food Bank in San Francisco on March 1st.

A total of 24 volunteers, including members of the Fil-Am Lions Club, participated in the event, packing food items to be delivered to 530 households. In particular, the active participation of next-generation volunteers, including Dae-hyun Kim and Judith, added more meaning to the activity.

Dae-hyun Kim expressed, "It was tough at first, but I felt very proud after it was over," and Judith smiled brightly, saying, "I feel good after sweating and volunteering, and I want to participate here often in the future."

Founded in 2021 as the San Francisco Special Choir Lions Club, the organization changed its name to the San Francisco Friends Cyber Lions Club in February of this year, striving to carry out broader volunteer activities. They have consistently engaged in various volunteer activities, including supporting victims of the LA wildfires and street cleaning, and through this Marin Food Bank volunteering, they practiced warm sharing in the local community.

President Seung-gu Kang said, "Making the world brighter is the spirit of Lions," and expressed pride, saying, "It feels like the community is getting healthier with the participation of next-generation members." He also expressed anticipation for the participation of many people, saying, "We have grown into a Cyber Club, allowing members to participate from anywhere in the world."
