Manchester United secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, with Rasmus Hojlund scoring a late brace. The Danish striker's goals propelled United to seventh in the league phase standings, positioning them well for a top-eight finish and direct qualification to the round of 16.

Tottenham Hotspur were held to a 1-1 draw by Rangers in Glasgow. The result eased the pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou, but Spurs remain winless in their last eight matches across all competitions. Rangers took the lead early in the second half through Hamza Igamane, but Tottenham equalized through Dejan Kulusevski.

Other notable results:

Lazio topped the group with 16 points after defeating Ajax 3-1.
Lyon defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 to move into fourth place.
Anderlecht secured a 2-1 win over Slavia Prague.
UEFA Conference League: Chelsea Cruise Past Astana

Chelsea continued their impressive form in the UEFA Conference League, comfortably defeating FC Astana 3-1. Goals from Marc Guiu and Renato Veiga secured the victory for the young Blues side. This result all but guarantees Chelsea a top-eight finish and direct qualification to the round of 16.

Fiorentina dominated LASK Linz, winning 7-0 to secure their place in the knockout stages.

With these results, the European football landscape continues to evolve, and the race for top spots in both the Europa League and Conference League heats up.
