Bucheon City will hold the '2026 Middle-Aged Job Festa' on September 30 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bucheon Employment and Welfare Plus Center. This event is designed to expand employment opportunities for the middle-aged population and support their re-entry into the labor market in response to aging and the increase in the middle-aged economically inactive population.

Now in its 3rd year, the 'Middle-Aged Job Festa' is jointly promoted by 14 local employment-related organizations, including the Bucheon Employment Center, Bucheon Job Center, and Bucheon Regional Labor-Management-Government Council.

The event will feature on-site interviews and recruitment consultations for middle-aged job seekers in the jurisdiction. Customized consultations in various fields necessary for the job-seeking process, such as employment, labor law, entrepreneurship, and retirement preparation, will also be provided.

The venue will be divided into a recruitment zone, an employment support zone, an experience and auxiliary event zone, and a customized consultation zone. In the recruitment zone on the 8th floor, 8 companies will conduct on-site interviews, along with support for job preparation, such as resume and cover letter writing, interview counseling, and corporate consultations.

On the 1st and 9th floors, the employment support zone, experience and auxiliary event zone, and customized consultation zone will operate various programs to help job seekers prepare for employment, including resume photo shoots, interview makeup, personal color diagnosis, and employment tarot counseling.

Shin Dong-sul, head of the Bucheon Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, said, "The middle-aged generation is a valuable human asset in our society with rich experience and capabilities," adding, "I hope this Middle-Aged Job Festa will serve as a solid stepping stone for middle-aged job seekers looking for new jobs to challenge themselves again."

Shin Dong-seon, Director of the Economic and Environmental Bureau of Bucheon City, said, "We have prepared various employment support programs so that middle-aged job seekers can find new jobs in line with the changing employment environment," adding, "We hope this event's on-site interviews and customized consultations will lead to practical employment for job seekers."

Inquiries regarding participation in the 'Middle-Aged Job Festa' can be made to the Bucheon Employment Center (032-320-8901) or the Bucheon Job Center (032-625-8430~8438).
