Chungcheongnam-do Province Promotes "Visiting Tourism Promotional Event" on the 27th at Haengdamdo Rest Stop

Chungcheongnam-do Province held a "Visiting Tourism Promotional Event" at the Haengdamdo Rest Stop on the Seohaean Expressway on the 27th, embarking on efforts to attract tourists for the summer vacation season.

This event was organized to promote the charms of Chungnam tourism, including major provincial tourist destinations, festivals, and linked tourism products, in anticipation of the "2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Year."

On this day, three cities and counties—Boryeong, Dangjin, and Yesan—participated together. They introduced representative summer festivals and tourist attractions within the province, such as the Boryeong Mud Festival and the Geumsan Samgyetang Festival, to visitors at the rest stop. They also distributed tourism maps, guidebooks, and promotional materials for local specialties from each city and county, receiving a great response.

A provincial official stated, "On-site promotions like these, where we directly introduce accessible and charming Chungnam tourist destinations, are highly effective. We will continue to carry out field-oriented promotional activities to revitalize local tourism."

Meanwhile, the province plans to continue promoting the "Chungnam Visit Year" to attract summer vacationers, including participating in the "Korea International Travel Fair" held at KINTEX, Ilsan on the 18th of next month.
