As autumn deepens, the autumn night of Geumodo Island is dyed in festivity with music.

The 2026 Yeosu World Island Fair Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") announced that it will hold the "Geumodo Festival" around the Uhak Port area of Geumodo Island from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on September 26.

This event was prepared so that tourists and local residents visiting Geumodo Island, a sub-venue of the 2026 Yeosu World Island Exposition, can mingle together and enjoy the autumn night of the island.

The event will kick off with recreation led by a professional MC, followed by various performances. Guest singers such as Cyburger, Hong Ji-ho, Park Mi-young, Nono Kim, and Geumodo will take the stage to present exciting music to the audience, and programs that residents and tourists can participate in and enjoy together are also prepared.

In particular, this festival is organized as an open festival where the daily lives of island residents and the exposition's contents blend together. It is expected to present a special autumn night unique to Geumodo, where people can enjoy music against the backdrop of the sea at Uhak Port and share stories with family, friends, and neighbors.

The festive atmosphere of Geumodo does not stop on September 26. The "Geumodo Mini Festival" will also continue around the Uhak Port area from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on October 10 and October 24. On October 10, Eun Ji-hoon, the Queens Performance Troupe (Pearl Sisters), and Geumodo will appear, and on October 24, Lee Ji-yeon, Hedy, and others will take the stage to fill the autumn of Geumodo with music.

An official from the Committee said, "We hope this festival will be a time for island residents and tourists to mingle together and feel the charm of Geumodo up close," adding, "We hope you will make special memories with music on Geumodo, where the autumn sentiment deepens."

Meanwhile, the 2026 Yeosu World Island Exposition will be held from September 5 to November 4 under the theme "Islands, Connecting the Sea and the Future" at the main venue in Jinmo-districts, Dolsan, Yeosu, and sub-venues such as Gaedo and Geumodo.
