KATHMANDU – The 10th Nepal Buildcon International Exhibition opened its doors at Bhrikutimandap today. Devendra Dahal, Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of prioritizing development construction projects within Nepal.

Minister Dahal stated that national prosperity and the development of transportation infrastructure to connect local producers with urban markets are key priorities for the government. He also noted ongoing efforts to diversify import sources and reduce reliance on any single country.

The expo features 150 stalls representing over 300 companies from various countries, according to Srijal Bhattarai, Managing Director of Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd, one of the organizers. Visitors can find information on construction-related industries, companies, dealers, sub-dealers, and products. The event aims to showcase new technologies in the construction sector.

Exhibits include construction materials, machinery, prefabricated structures, UPVC window machinery, UPVC profiles, doors and windows, architectural hardware, bathroom fittings, pipes, tiles, and sanitary wares.

The four-day expo is jointly organized by Media Space Solutions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade and Events Pvt Ltd. Organizers highlighted construction-related products and new technologies as key attractions.

The expo is free to the public and will be open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Organizers anticipate between 40,000 and 45,000 visitors.
