Jennie’s "Dracula" Sets New K-Pop History with 16 Consecutive Weeks in Billboard Hot 100 Top 10

BLACKPINK member Jennie has achieved a monumental milestone on the global music scene. Her collaborative track "Dracula," created with Australian psychedelic pop project Tame Impala, has spent its 16th consecutive week inside the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard main singles chart, the Hot 100.

According to Billboard's latest chart data released for the week, "Dracula" maintained its strong momentum by securing the No. 6 spot. Having previously reached a peak position of No. 5, the track has now demonstrated extraordinary longevity by refusing to budge from the upper echelons of the chart for nearly four months.

This accomplishment marks a brand-new record for K-pop artists. Jennie has officially surpassed the previous record held by BTS, whose mega-hit "Butter" charted in the Hot 100 Top 10 for 15 consecutive weeks. Furthermore, Jennie has outpaced other phenomenal recent achievements by fellow K-pop acts, such as BLACKPINK bandmate Rosé's collaboration "APT." with Bruno Mars, which held a 14-week top 10 streak, cementing Jennie's powerful and enduring individual musical impact worldwide.

The phenomenal trajectory of "Dracula" is a classic story of an artistic resurgence. The song was originally released in October of last year as a solo track by Tame Impala. However, the release of an official remix featuring Jennie in February completely revitalized the track. Infusing the song with her signature captivating vocals and a trendy rap verse, Jennie added a fresh layer of charm that resonated deeply with global listeners. The track subsequently went viral across major short-form video platforms, sparking a massive "reverse-running" syndication on streaming services and radio airplay that carried it straight to the top tiers of international music charts.

Music critics and industry insiders attribute this sustained success to the seamless blend of Tame Impala's signature disco-laden synth production and Jennie's distinct pop sensibilities. As "Dracula" continues to rewrite history on the Billboard charts, fans are eagerly anticipating what milestone Jennie will conquer next in her stellar solo career.
