On September 14, Won Hyun-joon’s agency, Prain TPC, officially confirmed that the couple will hold their wedding ceremony on October 4, drawing warm congratulations from fans and industry colleagues alike.

The couple themselves took to their respective social media accounts to share the joyful news directly with the public. Won Hyun-joon expressed his heartfelt affection, stating, "I have promised to spend the rest of my life with my most precious partner. The relationship between the two actors blossomed organically through their professional collaboration. Last year, they both appeared in the Disney+ original series Hyper Knife, where working together on set allowed them to grow closer, eventually developing a romantic relationship that led to this lifelong commitment. Despite their nine-year age gap, the couple built a deep mutual understanding rooted in their shared passion for acting and the arts. 

Won Hyun-joon has established a powerful and distinct presence in the Korean film and television landscape since his debut in the 2009 KBS2 blockbuster drama Iris. Over the years, he has built a versatile filmography through acclaimed roles in hit projects such as Itaewon Class, Bad and Crazy, A Bloody Lucky Day, Fine: Gachiddeukgi, and the horror project Ghost Market. Most recently, he experienced a massive surge in popularity and critical acclaim by starring as Kang Guk-chul—affectionately nicknamed "Land Puppy"—in the hit SBS drama Mr. Kim, which recorded a stellar peak viewership rating of 23.1% this year.
