Korean entertainment circles are welcoming a new talented actor couple as Won Hyun-joon (46) and Lee Soo-jin (37) announce their upcoming marriage. On September 14, Won Hyun-joon’s agency, Prain TPC, officially confirmed that the couple will hold their wedding ceremony on October 4, drawing warm congratulations from fans and industry colleagues alike.

The couple themselves took to their respective social media accounts to share the joyful news directly with the public. Won Hyun-joon expressed his heartfelt affection, stating, "I have promised to spend the rest of my life with my most precious partner. We will stay closest to each other, sharing laughs when we are happy, and serving as each other's reliable haven during tough times." Bride-to-be Lee Soo-jin also shared her emotional reflections, writing, "Meeting the most precious person in my life, I am stepping into a new season as someone's wife. While I feel a flutter of excitement and a bit of nervousness, it is deeply reassuring and comforting to know that I have someone to walk through every future moment with."

The relationship between the two actors blossomed organically through their professional collaboration. Last year, they both appeared in the Disney+ original series Hyper Knife, where working together on set allowed them to grow closer, eventually developing a romantic relationship that led to this lifelong commitment. Despite their nine-year age gap, the couple built a deep mutual understanding rooted in their shared passion for acting and the arts.

Won Hyun-joon has established a powerful and distinct presence in the Korean film and television landscape since his debut in the 2009 KBS2 blockbuster drama Iris. Over the years, he has built a versatile filmography through acclaimed roles in hit projects such as Itaewon Class, Bad and Crazy, A Bloody Lucky Day, Fine: Gachiddeukgi, and the horror project Ghost Market. Most recently, he experienced a massive surge in popularity and critical acclaim by starring as Kang Guk-chul—affectionately nicknamed "Land Puppy"—in the hit SBS drama Mr. Kim, which recorded a stellar peak viewership rating of 23.1% this year. His ability to effortlessly portray intense, multi-dimensional characters has made him a reliable scene-stealer in the industry.

Lee Soo-jin, on the other hand, has been steadily carving out her own respected acting career since her debut in the 2019 OCN drama The Running Mates: Human Rights. Known for her delicate emotional delivery and broad character spectrum, she has taken on diverse roles in notable works including Miss Monte-Cristo, Beneficial Fraud, and The Trunk / When the Phone Rings. Her steady growth and strong work ethic have earned her a loyal following and the respect of her peers.

As they prepare to step into a new chapter of their lives together on October 4, fans and fellow actors have flooded their social media pages with congratulatory messages. With both partners continuing to actively pursue their respective acting careers, the union of Won Hyun-joon and Lee Soo-jin marks the creation of another inspiring, hard-working actor couple in the Korean entertainment scene who will undoubtedly support each other both on and off the screen.
