Incheon, South Korea – Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on November 28th that it had broken ground on the “Smart Racing Park (9.81 Park Incheon Airport)” located in the Paradise City development area of the airport's first international business district (IBC-1).

The Smart Racing Park, a 60,000 square-meter theme park, will be constructed over three floors, including an underground level, with a total investment of 85 billion won. The park’s core attraction will be “Gravity Racing,” a unique racing experience developed by Monoris. This innovative form of racing combines elements of traditional racing with augmented reality and online gaming, allowing participants to reach speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour.

In addition to the racing track, the park will offer a variety of other attractions, including indoor survival games, bumper cars, a brand store, and food and beverage outlets. The park is expected to attract visitors of all ages.

The Smart Racing Park is part of the airport's larger plan to create a tourism cluster in the area, along with Paradise City, the second international business district, and the Inspire Integrated Resort. This cluster is expected to attract over 1 million visitors annually, including residents and transit passengers, and create jobs throughout the construction and operational phases.

"In the future, Incheon Airport will transform from a simple transportation facility into a 'must-visit destination' where culture, tourism, and business converge," said Lee Hak-jae, president of Incheon International Airport Corporation.

The corporation plans to further develop the international business district by adding a landmark complex and an AI innovation hub, aiming to establish a new aviation ecosystem that integrates culture, tourism, and business.
