- "I am Solo Camper"- A special 3-day, 2-night trip at Maengbang Beach Camping Ground from November 13 to 15

The Samcheok Tourism and Culture Foundation is accepting applications until October 30 (Friday) for the "I am Solo Camper" program, organized as part of its experiential tourism initiative titled "Charming Travel, Staying Samcheok," which combines Samcheok's stunning natural scenery with experiential tourism content.

This special 3-day, 2-night program will take place from November 13 (Friday) to November 15 (Sunday) around the Maengbang Beach Camping Ground in Samcheok. It is designed to allow participants to connect with new people and fully enjoy Samcheok's nature through the medium of camping.

Notably, popular camping and travel YouTuber "Junsiki" will join the program, participating in various camping activities with attendees to create unforgettable memories.

"I am Solo Camper" is tailored for solo travelers to naturally mingle and communicate based on the shared interest of camping. Participants will engage in team-based recreation and mission challenges, cook camping meals using local ingredients such as octopus and potatoes, and take part in diverse activities to form new bonds.

The program is also structured to let visitors escape daily routines and enjoy leisurely moments against the backdrop of Samcheok's breathtaking natural landscapes, such as Maengbang Beach and Deokbongsan Mountain, while experiencing Samcheok's unique tourism charms through camping.

Centering around peer exchange and hands-on activities, the schedule also includes free camping time after the official program concludes, allowing participants to enjoy camping at their own pace.

Applications are open to individuals who can commit to the entire 3-day, 2-night itinerary, with registration accepted on a solo basis (1 person per application). The participation fee is 50,000 won. Further details can be found on the official website of the Samcheok Tourism and Culture Foundation.

Yoo Jae-hyun, Secretary-General of the Samcheok Tourism and Culture Foundation, stated, "This program was designed to offer the excitement of solo travel alongside opportunities to communicate with new people through camping and experience Samcheok's nature. We will continue to develop differentiated stay-based tourism contents utilizing Samcheok's unique tourism resources to boost local tourism revitalization."
