In the 21st century, the international community has sought peace and prosperity under the values of mutual respect and multilateralism. However, the recent actions of the United States, the "world’s superpower," are frontally denying this rational order, creating a disastrous spectacle that feels like a return to an era of barbarism. The series of actions shown by the Trump administration go beyond mere national interest-first policies; they are riddled with economic blackmail and military dogmatism against the entire world.

First and foremost is the shameless pressure using the economy as a weapon. The U.S. has wielded the blade of tariff bombs against allies and foes alike for its own economic gain. The prestige of the past, when it claimed to be the guardian of free trade, is nowhere to be found, and it is plunging the global economy into chaos and misery, obsessed only with its own egoism.

The ruthlessness reaches its peak in its military actions. Pressuring the head of a sovereign state with force, escalating tensions in the Middle East, and placing Iran under the threat of invasion are direct violations of international law and humanitarian values. In particular, the arrogant attitude of boasting of military power by mentioning "weapons that can attack forever" is far from the dignity expected of a leader in a civilized society.

The even more disappointing fact is that this arrogance is ultimately leading to ugly entreaties. The momentum of boasting about powerful military force has sharply faltered as weapons began to deplete. The U.S. is now pouring out threatening remarks toward countries worldwide, demanding they dispatch troops to conflict zones like the Strait of Hormuz. This behavior, attempting to drive the youth of other nations into danger because it cannot handle the fire it started itself, shows that it has lost even the minimum sense of shame, let alone a sense of responsibility as a great power.
