I read a touching story. Such heartwarming anecdotes are especially common in the United States. In most countries around the world, military personnel, police officers, and firefighters exist. These are people who put on uniforms and head into the field with the resolve to lay down their lives for their citizens if necessary. In reality, many of them even die in the line of duty.
Once Cherry Garden becomes established, there are things I really want to do. I would like to gift meals to those in uniform or charge them only half the price for their food. As much as my heart wants to give it to them for free, I still have to pay rent, cover labor costs, and ingredients are expensive. Realistically, I cannot do completely free volunteer work.
I can at least treat soldiers on leave to a meal. It is not about the cost of a single meal; I want to express my respect as a citizen to them. Lately, the political scene has been noisy, and there are some people who do not act like true soldiers. However, those who fail to live up to the military spirit are a minority, and the vast majority of them faithfully carry out their inherent duties.
