The Organizing Committee for the 2026 Taean International Horticulture and Healing Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Committee") participated in the '11th Global Botanic Gardens Congress' held at COEX in Seoul on the 10th to promote the expo to domestic and international experts.

Given that this congress was held under the themes of "healing" and "nature," the Organizing Committee participated to expand its connection with global garden culture and plant education, and to strengthen the expo's international standing.

During the congress, which runs until the 13th, the Organizing Committee operated a promotional exhibition booth for three days from the 10th to the 12th, introducing Taean's nature and conveying the meaning and differentiated vision of the expo.

Additionally, the Organizing Committee plans to strengthen exchanges with representatives from the Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI), the Korea National Arboretum, and major overseas botanic gardens. This will lay the groundwork for future international academic forums and global promotional cooperation.

Oh Jin-gi, Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee, stated, "This congress is an opportunity to directly inform domestic and international experts about the expo's differentiated value and Taean's beautiful nature." He added, "We will continue to actively expand overseas promotion and strengthen global communication networks to make this expo a success."

Meanwhile, the Taean International Horticulture and Healing Expo will be jointly hosted by the province and Taean-gun for one month from April 25 to May 24 next year, under the theme of 'Horticulture & Healing: A Healthy Future Found in Nature'. It is expected to attract 1.82 million visitors from 40 countries.
