Seoul, South Korea – Geoam Art Hall has announced an eclectic lineup for 2025, promising a rich tapestry of musical performances that cater to a wide range of tastes. From classical masterpieces to contemporary interpretations, the hall aims to create a vibrant cultural hub that fosters connection and harmony.
The year's program is divided into three thematic series: "Sound & Bow," "Poetry & Dialogue," and "Shin Sadam."
"Sound & Bow" will spotlight classical music performances, featuring renowned pianists and violinists. The series kicks off with pianist Park Jaehong on May 10, followed by the promising young violinist Lee Hyunjeong on May 24. As part of the 2025 Seoul Bach Festival, the series will conclude with a chamber music performance by Collegium Musicum Seoul, showcasing the beauty of Baroque music on period instruments.
"Poetry & Dialogue" will offer a more intimate experience, blending vocal performances with insightful conversations. Tenor Choi Wonhui will host the series, inviting a diverse group of artists, including baritone Kim Kihoon and violinist Han Sujin in September, and tenor Son Jihoon in October.
"Shin Sadam," meaning "private stories of Shinsadong," introduces a new series that celebrates the unique charm of unconventional instruments. The series will feature cellist Yorulrehi, guitarist Park Kyuhee, and bandoneonist Gosangji, showcasing their distinctive styles and captivating audiences with their musical storytelling.
With its ambitious lineup for 2025, Geoam Art Hall is poised to solidify its position as a leading cultural destination in Seoul.
