[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES] The government held the 10th meeting of the ‘Medical Manpower Expert Committee’ (Chairman Seok-Jun Yoon) under the Medical Reform Special Committee at 16:00 on October 17.
At the meeting held on this day, we looked at obstacles such as strict reporting procedures and requirements that occurred while operating the existing system* related to sharing medical personnel to discuss matters to be considered when enacting the “Shared Treatment Guidelines.”
If demand in the medical field is high or it is judged necessary to introduce it, an opinion was also presented to promote it in the form of a pilot project in connection with the medical treatment cooperation system and expand it step by step by establishing a specific model.
Diseases, regions, and types of sharing/cooperation that require sharing of manpower between medical institutions were discussed and categorized, and various models were discussed so that they could be applied in various forms as needed.
Noh Yeon-hong, chairman of the Medical Reform Special Committee, said, “By presenting types of human resource sharing that can be applied, we will create a plan so that it can be actively utilized within the institutional framework.”
