MegazoneSoft Completes Google Workspace-Based AI Transformation for Nongshim Group

MegazoneSoft, an affiliate of MegazoneCloud, has successfully wrapped up a monumental AI Transformation (AX) project for the Nongshim Group, integrating Google Workspace (GWS) and generative AI across 14 domestic South Korean affiliates and 7 overseas subsidiaries.

The culmination of this large-scale initiative was marked by a grand GWS Proclamation Ceremony held at Nongshim’s headquarters. Key executives in attendance included Nongshim CEO Cho Yong-cheol, MegazoneCloud CEO Yeom Dong-hoon, and Shannon Tong, Head of Google Workspace North Asia Sales. The strategic partnership aims to dismantle conventional operational boundaries, enhance cross-border communication, and drive enterprise-wide productivity.

Comprehensive Data Migration and Cloud Infrastructure

A cornerstone of the project was the massive migration of legacy corporate data. MegazoneSoft successfully transferred approximately 26 million documents from Nongshim’s legacy centralized document servers directly to Google Drive. To ensure scalable governance for a multinational corporate structure, the deployment utilized an advanced "single-tenant, multi-domain" architecture. This design allows all group affiliates to operate within a unified collaborative ecosystem while giving individual subsidiaries independent control over data access and local security policies. Furthermore, this optimized structure enables Nongshim to seamlessly onboard newly established entities or M&A targets into the group’s standardized IT environment within just 24 hours, eliminating redundant infrastructure setup costs.

Embedding Generative AI Across Business Operations

Beyond simple cloud migration, the partnership focuses heavily on true AI-driven innovation. Google’s generative AI model, Gemini, has been deeply embedded across vital operational domains—including marketing, sales, supply chain management, general operations, human resources (HR), and research and development (R&D). By integrating AI assistance directly into daily workflows, employees can automate repetitive tasks, accelerate data-driven insights, and optimize cross-functional cooperation.

Change Management and Future Outlook

Recognizing that technology adoption relies equally on human adaptation, MegazoneSoft spearheaded a rigorous change management program. This included tailored training sessions segmented by job level, function, and language, alongside ongoing quantitative tracking of AI utilization rates, work-hour efficiency, and user satisfaction.

Jin Geon, CEO of MegazoneSoft, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating that the company takes immense pride in guiding Nongshim Group through every phase—from technical foundation building to change management. As enterprises in the food and manufacturing sectors increasingly look toward intelligent automation, this landmark collaboration serves as an industry benchmark for large-scale corporate AX strategies powered by cloud-native innovation.
