The recent controversy surrounding the political sphere's trust in the judiciary is causing deep disappointment among the public. Regardless of political affiliation, the behavior of lavishly applauding rulings favorable to oneself while distrusting the judiciary and chanting "only the will of the people" when results are unfavorable is being repeated. This is a dangerous act that shakes the foundation of the rule of law and reveals a self-contradictory stance of denying the very laws they created.

Members of the National Assembly, who constitute the legislative branch that enacts laws, are each individual legislative organs. If they do not respect court rulings, it is no different from denying the authority of the laws they themselves created. Law is the minimum promise that all members of society must abide by, and no one can reign above the law. When politicians disregard legal judgments and appeal to public sentiment, it undermines the rule of law and causes social chaos.

Such behavior from the political sphere seriously compromises the independence of the judiciary. The judiciary must be independent from political pressure and judge fairly according to the law and conscience. However, when the political sphere only advocates for rulings that suit their interests and expresses distrust in unfavorable rulings, it can act as undue pressure on the judiciary. This leads to doubts about the fairness of the judiciary and diminishes public trust in the law.

A more serious problem is that this behavior of the political sphere can instill a wrong perception in the public. As the public witnesses politicians using the law as a political tool, they may no longer regard the law as something to be respected and obeyed. This weakens the rule of law consciousness of society as a whole and risks spreading a trend of disregarding the law.

The political sphere must now reflect on its wrong behavior and show respect for the rule of law. Only by accepting court rulings and taking responsibility according to the law can they regain public trust. Furthermore, they must strive to guarantee the independence of the judiciary and establish the rule of law.

As representatives of the people, politicians must set an example of abiding by and respecting the law. The law is not an object of political bargaining and cannot be swayed by public sentiment. The law is the minimum promise to maintain social justice and order, and it must be remembered that no one can reign above the law. Only a mature attitude from the political sphere is the sole way to rebuild the shattered trust in the judiciary and rightly establish the rule of law.
