Singapore - A new artificial intelligence (AI)-based platform 'Doris' that connects parents and schools has been officially launched in Singapore this month. Many well-known K-12 international schools in Singapore have already joined the platform, raising high expectations.

Doris provides personalized school recommendations based on conversations with parents. Parents can compare various schools that meet their needs and view detailed profiles, including curriculum and special activities. Currently, hundreds of international school profiles are registered on the platform, and plans are in place to add a feature that directly connects parents and schools in the future.

Schools can use a data dashboard to track the engagement of potential parents with their school profiles by their marketing and admissions teams. In addition, schools can enrich their profiles with images, press releases, and social media feeds. In particular, the platform also provides schools with data on parents' motivations and interests when matching parents and schools.

Several well-known schools, including Dulwich College (Singapore) and Singapore American School, have already joined the Doris platform.

Nik Higgins, CEO of Doris, said, "We are confident that we will bring positive change to the education sector, which has long relied on inefficient school listing sites, consultants, and agents." He added, "Doris's generative AI model provides highly informed recommendations based on conversations between parents and the virtual assistant Doris. As the platform evolves, schools will receive high-quality, high-intent match notifications from parents looking to connect."

Jason Hopper, Senior Advisor and Non-Executive Director of Doris, pointed out, "The K-12 education sector has seen rapid growth recently, but the tools supporting schools and parents have not kept pace with the demands of this dynamic market." He emphasized, "When Nik introduced Doris, I immediately recognized its potential to create real value for both parents and schools and bridge the gap. The fact that schools can gain deep insights into the motivations and preferences of potential parents will bring about a revolutionary change for admissions and marketing professionals."

The Doris platform plans to support efficient communication between schools and parents by providing schools with high-quality and high-intent parent matching information in the future.
