Dedicated space set up at the tourist information center… selling dolls, key rings, lifestyle goods, and more

Cheonan City announced on the 29th that it will regularly sell tourism souvenirs featuring its official tourism characters, 'Nubi and Ddowa,' at the Cheonan Samgeori Park Tourist Information Center starting October 1st.

This regular sales initiative was launched to help visitors easily purchase souvenirs reflecting Cheonan's unique characteristics, coinciding with the opening of the 'Cheonan Heungtaering Dance Festival 2026,' and to enhance the brand awareness and affinity of Cheonan tourism using the characters.

Previously, the city operated a promotional booth for Nubi and Ddowa souvenirs during the '2026 Cheonan K-Culture Expo,' receiving an enthusiastic response from visitors. To maintain this demonstrated demand, the city established a dedicated sales space at the easily accessible Cheonan Samgeori Park Tourist Information Center.

The available items include Nubi and Ddowa plush dolls, desk pads, key rings, clickers, mother-of-pearl business card holders, mobile phone card wallets, and shoe charms (jibitz). The collection features a diverse range of items, from practical everyday lifestyle goods to collectible souvenirs that capture travel memories.

Through this regular sales operation, the city expects the tourist information center to evolve from a simple travel information provider into a comprehensive promotional hub that conveys Cheonan's charm and stories.

Jeong Seon-ha, Head of the Tourism Division, stated, "We hope these tourism souvenirs will serve as a medium that allows visitors to cherish their memories of traveling in Cheonan for a long time and recall Cheonan's charm in their daily lives."
