Held an Invitational Discussion with Professors from 9 Universities to Discuss Ways to Recruit Young Visitors
Expanding Expo Awareness through Official University Channels and Student Social Media

Chungbuk Province has sought cooperative measures with beauty-related universities across the province to successfully host the 「2026 Osong Cosmetics Beauty Expo」 and attract a younger audience.

On the 29th, the Province held a "University Discussion for Attracting Young Visitors" at the Provincial Office's Picture Book Garden Conference Room. The meeting was attended by representatives from a total of nine universities, including eight in Chungbuk Province—Chungbuk National University, Cheongju University, Seowon University, Chungbuk Provincial University, Jungwon University, Chungcheong University, Chungbuk Health and Science University, and Far East University—along with Konyang University.

This discussion was promoted to actively inform university students, who are the leaders of the future beauty industry, about the Osong Cosmetics Beauty Expo and to establish practical cooperative measures to expand participation among the younger generation.

Starting with an explanation of the expo's progress, the meeting featured discussions on various promotional and visitor attraction measures designed to boost interest and participation from the youth.

Key cooperative measures presented include:

Using university website main banners and department bulletin boards to promote the expo
Implementing youth-tailored promotions utilizing official university social media channels such as Instagram Reels, Facebook, and blogs
Providing fast-track entry procedures for department-specific group viewings
Kim Wang-il, Director of the Advanced Bio Division of Chungbuk Province, stated, "Through this discussion, we have explored concrete cooperative measures with universities in the province to attract young visitors and laid a promotional foundation for college students to visit the expo in person," adding, "We hope that college students and many other young people will visit the 2026 Osong Cosmetics Beauty Expo, held at Cheongju OSCO from October 22 to 24, and enjoy a variety of beauty contents and programs."

Meanwhile, the 「2026 Osong Cosmetics Beauty Expo」 will be held for three days from October 22 to 24 at Cheongju OSCO, with the opening ceremony taking place at 2:00 PM on October 22. This year, a record-breaking 246 companies are scheduled to participate, showcasing cosmetics and beauty corporate exhibitions, various experiences and events, conferences, and trade consultations.
