"Where are the best autumn foliage spots?"… KTO releases Fall Foliage Map

SEOUL — The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), in collaboration with the Korea National Arboretum, released the "2026 Fall Foliage Map" on the 8th through its official travel website, Visit Korea. The newly released guide details peak autumn foliage periods and recommends top-tier scenic destinations across the country.
Featured locations on this year's map include Incheon Grand Park, Goseokjeong National Tourist Area in the Hantan River gorge of Cheorwon (Gangwon Province), Sapgyoho Lake in Dangjin (South Chungcheong Province), Mungwang Reservoir in Goesan (North Chungcheong Province), and Darabi Oreum in Seogwipo (Jeju Island).
In addition to these highlights, the map provides regional peak foliage forecasts divided into six major zones nationwide, alongside detailed guides for 36 essential autumn travel destinations.
"We hope travelers will experience the diverse charms of autumn by exploring landscapes painted in brilliant shades of red and gold," a KTO official stated.
