Provincial Government Holds Children’s Song Contest… Around 600 Infants, Parents, and Faculty Members from 10 Daycare Centers Participate -

Chungcheongnam-do, together with the Chungnam Support Center for Childcare, has created a platform of harmony and communication where infants, parents, and childcare teachers become one through children's songs.

On the 17th, the province held the “2026 Children’s Song Contest: Picnic (疏風—Wind of Communication)” at the main auditorium of the Provincial Government Arts and Culture Center, with the attendance of Administrative Vice Governor Hong Jong-wan, along with some 600 infants, parents, and childcare staff from 10 daycare center teams.

This event was organized to foster a harmonious and communicative space uniting infants, parents, and childcare teachers, while building a childcare community culture where everyone can empathize and enjoy themselves through children’s songs.

Participating teams showcased the songs they had prepared, singing and enjoying the moment together with the audience. The event added deeper meaning as it went beyond a typical competition, with infants, parents, and childcare staff preparing and participating on stage together.

Administrative Vice Governor Hong Jong-wan stated, “I hope this children’s song contest becomes a meaningful time where the bright smiles of the children and the warm hearts of parents and childcare staff gather as one. We will continue to build a Chungnam where infants, parents, and childcare faculty members are all happy.”
