On-site promotional campaigns to improve cultural accessibility for residents
The Jeonbuk State Culture and Tourism Foundation (CEO Lee Gyeong-yoon, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) is presenting the "Culture "Day Everywhere, Jeonbuk Gobisatsat" arts and cultural program across nine cities and counties in the province from October 7 to 29.

In celebration of October "Culture Month," the schedule, which traditionally centers around Wednesdays, will partially include Thursdays in certain regions to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for local residents.

The program will run a total of 18 times at cultural facilities, welfare spaces, and outdoor stages in nine cities and counties, including Gochang, Gimje, Namwon, Muju, Buan, Sunchang, Imsil, Jeongeup, and Jinan.

On the 7th, programs include: ▲ Camellia diffuser making at the Gochang Culture Center; ▲ "MADE IN Jinan – Autumn Edition" busking and experiences at the Jinan-gun Office outdoor stage; ▲ "Becoming One Through Arts and Culture" performance and experiences at the Imsil Munyedamteo Culture Plaza; ▲ Youth play "Sunny Starting Today" at Jeongeup Pungryu Garden; ▲ "Reunion, Flowers of Love Blooming" dance performance and experience at Namwon Daegang Happiness Culture Center; and ▲ "Poetry Recital Concert" combining poetry readings with jazz and classical performances at Sunchang Central Shelter.

On the 14th, the "Gobisatsat Buan" performance and experience program will be operated at the Buan General Social Welfare Center.

On the 21st, visitors can enjoy: ▲ "Autumn Concert" at Sunchang Gangcheonsan Byeongpung Falls; ▲ Global Geopark terrarium making at Gochang Culture Center; ▲ "Poem Infused with "Tea Fragrance"" performance and tea tasting experience at Jeongeup Naejangsang-dong Gonggam Plus Center; ▲ "Reunion, Flowers of Love Blooming" dance performance and experience at Namwon Namwon Yechon Madang; ▲ "Jeonbuk Gobisatsat Gimje" performance and experience in Gimje; and ▲ "Everyone's Cultural Day: Watch and Create" movie screening and experience in Muju.

On the 22nd, the comedy magic show "Three Idiots" can be seen at the Gochang Culture Center.

On the 28th, events feature: ▲ "MADE IN Jinan – Festival Edition" performance and experience at the Jinan Culture House; and ▲ "Everyone's Cultural Day: Watch and Create" movie screening and experience at Muju Seolcheon-myeon Office.

On the 29th, the October schedule concludes with: ▲ "Jeonbuk Gobisatsat Jeongeup" and a performance and craft experience in collaboration with the Korea Rural Community Corporation (Rural Talent Donation) at Jeongeup Northern Senior Welfare Center; and ▲ "Gobisatsat Buan" performance and experience at Buan Baeksan Elementary School.

In addition, the Foundation will conduct an on-site promotional campaign visiting program locations to communicate with residents. Through the introduction of the "Jeonbuk Gobisatsat" project and on-site participation events, it aims to increase interest and participation, while gathering local feedback on arts and cultural programs through participant satisfaction surveys.

CEO Lee Gyeong-yoon stated, "In celebration of October Culture Month, we hope local residents will enjoy arts and culture close to their daily lives and spend a rich autumn. We will continue to listen closely to residents "voices in the field and present programs that reflect regional cultural demands."

Meanwhile, "Culture Day Everywhere" is a national cultural enjoyment promotion project promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism starting in 2024. The Jeonbuk-style cultural brand selected for this project, "Jeonbuk Gobisatsat: Art is Close" (Gobisatsat meaning every nook and cranny in the Jeonbuk dialect), is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Jeonbuk State, and 9 cities and counties, and co-organized by the Regional Culture and Tourism Foundation, the Foundation, and regional basic implementing agencies.

Detailed schedules and information can be found on the Foundation's website (jbct.or.kr) and official SNS channels, or by contacting the Education and Culture Team (063-230-7491).
