Gangwon State Dance Company Special Performance "Eorpida" to be Held

The Gangwon State Dance Company will host the Cheongju City Dance Company for its special performance "Eorpida" as part of the "Gangwon-ttre" project on Saturday, October 10 at 6:00 PM at the outdoor stage of KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon.

This performance was arranged in return for the Cheongju City Dance Company's invitation last July. It is designed to expand inter-regional cultural and arts networks through artistic exchanges between the two regional dance companies and to present high-level traditional Korean dance to the province's residents.

Set against the backdrop of Uiamho Lake's beautiful scenery, this outdoor performance will feature traditional Korean dances reflecting the unique characteristics of both Gangwon and Cheongju, promising a special stage where the autumn night, the lake, and dance harmonize.

Kim Jin-mi, Artistic Director and Principal Choreographer, said, "It is all the more meaningful for the dances of Gangwon and Cheongju to meet on a single stage against the backdrop of the beautiful Uiamho Lake. We have prepared this with utmost care so that everyone can experience the beauty of our dance along with the sentiment of autumn, and we hope many people will come and enjoy the performance."

This performance is open to anyone from elementary school students and older, and admission is free of charge. For detailed inquiries about the performance, please contact the Gangwon State Dance Company (☎033-251-4417).
