SEOUL – Comedian couple Son Min-su and Lim Ra-ra (real name Lim Ji-hyun), widely known to the public as the faces behind the massively popular YouTube channel "Enjoy Couple," have announced the joyful arrival of their twins. The couple, who built their fame on relatable and hilarious relationship content, shared the news with their fans yesterday, expressing immense gratitude for the long journey of support.

The twins, a son and a daughter, were born safely on October 14, two days ahead of the initially scheduled due date of October 16. The decision to expedite the delivery was made due to Lim Ra-ra experiencing severe gestational pruritus (pregnancy rash).

A Dual Blessing and Public Celebration

Son Min-su broke the happy news on the couple's YouTube community and social media accounts on October 15, sharing a heartwarming photo of the babies' tiny feet. He also revealed the names and birth weights of their new bundles of joy: the son, nicknamed 'Ttuki,' weighed 3.24 kilograms, and the daughter, 'Raki,' weighed 2.77 kilograms.

"Our son Ttuki, 3.24kg, and daughter Raki, 2.77kg, were born safely," Son Min-su wrote. "Once again, thank you so much for cheering us on throughout this long time." The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from their millions of followers, who have closely followed the couple’s journey from dating to marriage, and most recently, the challenges and joys of their twin pregnancy.

From Stage Struggles to YouTube Stardom

While both comedians initially started their careers on traditional broadcast comedy stages, their true stardom began with a pivot to digital media. Son Min-su debuted through tvN's 'Comedy Big League,' and Lim Ra-ra was a public recruit comedian for the 15th class at SBS. Though they did not find widespread fame on TV, their fortunes changed dramatically after they launched their YouTube channel, "Enjoy Couple," in 2017.

The channel features a variety of authentic, often candid, and side-splitting content centered around their relationship—from everyday pranks and challenges to emotional vlogs detailing their life milestones. This authentic approach resonated deeply with viewers, transforming them into one of South Korea's most successful couples' channels. "Enjoy Couple" currently boasts an impressive subscriber count of 2.59 million, cementing their status as influential figures in the digital entertainment landscape.

The birth of Ttuki and Raki marks a significant and highly anticipated new chapter for the couple, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next phase of content, which is sure to include the hilarious and touching realities of life as a family of four. The new parents are expected to take some time to cherish this moment before returning to their channel, where they will undoubtedly continue to share their lives with a devoted global audience.
