Chungcheongnam-do announced on the 31st that it will be recruiting 100 subscribers for the 'Banjjak Independent Account' until next month 21st to support asset formation for severely disabled individuals.
This project aims to help severely disabled individuals in the province prepare for the future and build independent funds. For three years, if they save between KRW 100,000 and KRW 200,000 each month, the province will contribute KRW 150,000 monthly as asset formation support.
Upon final maturity, they can receive a maximum of KRW 12.6 million in savings and interest with preferential rates for the disabled.
Eligible applicants are severely disabled individuals aged between 15 and 39 whose household recognized income is below 100% of the median income.
However, those who have participated in similar asset formation support projects implemented by the government (such as the Youth Hope Savings Account, Tomorrow Hope Savings Account, Hope Savings Account, or Youth Tomorrow Fill Gongje) or by the province and its cities/counties are excluded.
Applications can be submitted at the administrative welfare center of the applicant's residential eup, myeon, or dong. For more details, please contact the asset formation support project 담당자 (person in charge) in your city/county.
A provincial official stated, "We hope the Banjjak Independent Account will serve as a cornerstone for economic independence," and added, "We will continue to promote various projects to support the stable future and independence of severely disabled residents in the province."
