The Daejeon Metropolitan City Human Resources Development Institute will operate the 'Daecheongho Obaengni Trail Exploration' course for national civil servants for three days, from March 31st to April 2nd.
The Daecheongho Obaengni Trail Exploration course, which began in 2023, is now in its third year. A total of 27 people from across the country applied for this training, and among them, 10 are civil servants from other cities and provinces such as Gyeonggi-do.
The 'Daecheongho Obaengni Trail' is an ecological exploration trail stretching 210km along Daecheongho Lake, consisting of 21 sections. It is a representative tourist attraction of Daejeon, visited by tourists from all over the country throughout the four seasons.
This course is designed with a schedule that involves directly walking through the major sections of the Daecheongho Lake area and experiencing nature. On the first day, participants will explore the Hoban Romantic Road (Section 4), famous as the filming location of the movie 'The Fatal Encounter' and home to a meditation garden. On the second day, they will walk the Rohas Road (Section 21) along the Geumgang wooden deck path, where colonies of king willow trees unfold. The final day will conclude with various ecological explorations and experiences in the Ihyeon-dong area of Daedeok-gu, where ecological wetlands are are established.
This course goes beyond simple exploration, providing an opportunity for self-reflection through 'time for rest and healing,' and is also significant in promoting the beautiful nature of Daejeon nationwide.
In the future, the Daejeon Metropolitan City Human Resources Development Institute plans to operate various exploration-based training courses for national civil servants, including 'Walking into Daejeon,' 'Exploring the Daedeok Special Zone for Science and Technology,' 'Five Senses Satisfaction! Daejeon Exploration,' and 'Daejeon Dulle Trail Exploration.'
