Taiwanese live commerce draws over 3,000 local consumers to promote products from 7 companies.
Mock investment challenge achieves massive success, with Dongwon F&B's (Dongle F&B) "Tantan Ball" selected as top-rated product.
The Jeonbuk State-hosted "3rd Jeonbuk Youth Startup Fair" concluded successfully, drawing over 2,000 residents and tourists to Jeonju Hanok Village.
Held as part of the "2026 J-Startup Festa" under the theme "Connecting Youth Dreams with the Light of Infinite Passion," the fair aimed to introduce the products and technologies of youth enterprises while expanding domestic and international distribution channels and investment opportunities.
The event featured various programs to support the business growth of youth enterprises, including global live commerce targeting overseas consumers, interactive mock investment sessions for visitors, and expert consultations.
At a special studio set up at the Daesaseupcheong in Jeonju Hanok Village, global live commerce linked with Taiwanese influencers took place. Seven local youth enterprises participated, showcasing key products such as cosmetics and granola, while over 3,000 consumers in Taiwan tuned in in real-time.
A "Mock Investment Challenge" was also held, where visitors used mobile QR codes to virtually invest in startup companies of interest. Among evaluations from on-site spectators and professional investors, "Dongle F&B's" "Tantan Ball" received the highest praise.
Jeonbuk State plans to provide the 30 participating companies with consumer preference and marketability analysis data collected during the mock investment process to support product improvement. Furthermore, it will pursue follow-up support to connect companies with actual investments and consultations with domestic and international buyers.
Programs sharing startup experiences and management strategies were also organized. "Startup Insight Special Lectures" by Chef Oh Se-deuk and Writer Go Myeong-hwan, along with a "Survival Strategy Talk Concert" by three veteran entrepreneurs, introduced experiences and business operation cases from the startup journey.
In addition, one-on-one expert consultation programs, including the "Corporate Growth Clinic" and "Startup Open Desk," addressed difficulties in fields such as technology, patents, and accounting. Nighttime networking programs like the "Startup Moonlight Salon" and "Investor Meetup Day" provided opportunities for young entrepreneurs and investors to share business information and discuss cooperation potential.
Yoo Hee-sook, Head of the Corporate Attraction Bureau at Jeonbuk State, stated, "This fair was a meaningful occasion where the ideas of local youth translated into tangible results such as global distribution channels and marketability validation. We will spare no effort in providing full support so that Jeonbuk youth enterprises can leap forward into global unicorns."
