About the World Airport Awards:

The World Airport Awards are the most prestigious accolades in the airport industry, determined by the results of the world's largest annual airport customer satisfaction survey. Operating since 1999, the World Airport Awards are independent and impartial, evaluating customer service and facilities across over 575 airports worldwide. They are regarded as the quality benchmark for the airport industry. The survey and awards process is free of charge to airports.

The 2025 Awards are based on World Airport Survey questionnaires completed by over 100 nationalities of airport customers during the survey period from August 2024 to February 2025. The survey evaluated the customer experience across key performance indicators for airport service and product – from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security/immigration through to departure at the gate.
