Yeomimseon Hanbok, representing Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, has donated 15 traditional hanboks to the Korean Association in Argentina to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Korean immigration to the country. This donation is expected to be a significant opportunity to introduce Korea's traditional beauty and culture to South America. The donated hanboks will be used in a hanbok fashion show, which will be held on November 2nd as part of the '60th Anniversary of Korean Immigration' event at Palermo Park, a representative cultural space in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

This year's commemorative event is expected to attract approximately 200,000 local visitors and will feature various programs in addition to the hanbok fashion show. In particular, the donated hanboks, designed with Jeonbuk's unique identity and traditional Korean aesthetics, are expected to deeply impress the local people.

The traditional hanboks were delivered by Yeomimseon Hanbok to the Korea-Latin America Association on behalf of the Korean Association in Argentina. Seol Mi-hwa, CEO of Yeomimseon Hanbok, who attended the ceremony, expressed her hope that "the beautiful hanboks, where tradition and modernity coexist, will deliver an impression in Argentina as well," and stated her ambition to "continue to strive for the globalization of K-Hanbok as a representative of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province."

Furthermore, Song Ha-jin, Chairman of the World Calligraphy Jeonbuk Biennale Organizing Committee, who also attended the delivery ceremony, promised to spare no effort in supporting Yeomimseon Hanbok to be widely known in Argentina. Chairman Song also announced a plan to hold a Hangeul calligraphy exhibition in Argentina in December, expressing his intention to contribute to promoting the beauty of Korean culture through hanbok and calligraphy.

This donation is regarded as a meaningful step that goes beyond a simple handover of goods, promoting hanbok as Korea's cultural heritage to the world and enhancing cultural exchange between Korea and Argentina. Jeonbuk's cultural content is expected to add brilliance to the event commemorating the 60-year history of Korean immigration and significantly contribute to spreading a positive perception of Korean culture in South America.
