SEOUL – Flatist Co., Ltd., a global platform merging Web 3.0-based live broadcasting with e-commerce, announced the appointment of violinist Han Su-jin as its first official ambassador following the platform's launch on November 13.
The collaboration marks a significant step for both the acclaimed artist and the innovative digital platform, aiming to bridge the gap between classical music and the modern digital audience. Flatist’s decision to partner with Han Su-jin is a testament to her commanding presence in the global classical music scene and her commitment to expanding the reach of Korean classical music worldwide.
A Brilliant Career and Global Recognition
Violinist Han Su-jin first drew the international spotlight by becoming the youngest contestant and the first Korean to reach the finals and secure second place at the prestigious Wieniawski International Violin Competition. Since then, she has maintained a vibrant performing career, collaborating with world-class orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Poznań Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and KBS Symphony Orchestra.
Beyond her performance accolades, Han Su-jin is recognized as a cultural and artistic diplomat, currently serving as an advisory member in the classical music sector for cultural diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her contributions were further honored in 2023 when she received the Young Artist Award in the music division from the National Academy of Arts, Republic of Korea. Her ambassadorship with Flatist is expected to leverage her substantial influence, extending her reach from the traditional concert hall into the burgeoning realm of new media platforms.
Upcoming Performances and Artistic Ventures
Han Su-jin's schedule remains packed with significant year-end performances, showcasing her versatility and dedication to both established repertoire and new works.
November 22: She is set to premiere composer Shin-woo Lee's 'Bright Sadness' and works by composer Yeon-ho Jung (commissioned by the London Symphony Orchestra) at the IBK Chamber Hall, Seoul Arts Center.
November 26: She will present the ‘Han Su-jin Recital’ organized by the Dongjak Cultural Foundation.
December 5 and 6: She will perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in a concert titled 'Heavenly Fingertips, Master's Melody.'

December 21: She will return to the IBK Chamber Hall at the Seoul Arts Center for Max Richter's 'Vivaldi Four Seasons Recomposed.'
Flatist’s Vision for Arts Accessibility
Flatist representatives emphasized that the collaboration with Han Su-jin, who has built a solid musical presence through partnerships with global masters like Myung-whun Chung, András Schiff, and Gidon Kremer, will inaugurate a new era where art meets technology.
"This collaboration will serve as a platform for a new historical trend where art converges with technology," a Flatist spokesperson stated. "We plan to establish various forms of artistic content and communication channels, allowing music fans both domestically and internationally to connect more closely with her music and message."
The company further elaborated on its mission: “Together with Ambassador Han Su-jin, we are committed to expanding platform-based cultural accessibility.
