Daejeon Fire Headquarters Hosts "Safety Experience Festival" for Family Month

The 119 Citizen Experience Center of the Daejeon Fire Headquarters successfully held a "Family Love Safety Experience Festival" on May 3rd, in commemoration of Family Month. The event, centered around the slogan "Learn Safety Through Experience," aimed to provide families with an opportunity to participate in various safety drills, reinforcing the significance of everyday safety practices and strengthening familial bonds.
The festival featured a wide array of practical and engaging safety experience programs that garnered enthusiastic participation from attendees. These included hands-on training on how to use fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, simulated emergency evacuations during karaoke room fires and earthquakes, crisis escape simulations, a throwable fire extinguisher target practice tournament, and a fire safety knowledge quiz.
One participating citizen, Mr. Lee, expressed his satisfaction, stating, "It was a very meaningful time to create precious memories with my beloved family and learn valuable safety knowledge."
Park Jeong-ho, Head of the Daejeon Fire Headquarters 119 Citizen Experience Center, commented, "We hope that this event served as an opportunity for citizens to once again recognize the importance of safety. We will continue to strive to spread a culture of safety through various experiential programs that the whole family can enjoy and learn from."
