This event was organized to promote the appeal of pink pomelos, which are gaining attention as a healthy fruit for spring.
Vietnam is the second-largest pomelo producer in the world, with an annual production of approximately 1.14 million tons as of 2022. Korea is one of the major import countries for Vietnamese pomelos, ranking as the second-largest market in Vietnam's agricultural export industry, which exports to over 13 countries.
Vietnamese pink pomelos boast an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity. They are also high-quality fruits cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner, with low risk of pests and diseases and having received Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certifications both globally and in Vietnam.
