Korean Men's Curling Team Advances to Semifinals with 4-0 Record at 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games

HARBIN, China – The South Korean men's curling team has advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games with a perfect 4-0 record in the preliminary round.
The team, led by skip Lee Jae-beom, defeated Kazakhstan 12-2 in their final preliminary round match on Tuesday. Korea dominated the game from start to finish, scoring multiple points in several ends.
With the win, Korea finished first in their group and secured a spot in the semifinals. They will face the winner of the playoff between the second and third place teams in the other group.
This is Korea's first time advancing to the semifinals of the Asian Winter Games since 2007. They are now one step closer to winning their first gold medal in the event since 2007.
The semifinals will be held on Thursday.

Japan also advanced to the semifinals with a perfect 4-0 record.
China finished third in their group and will need to win a playoff game to advance to the semifinals.
