Suwon City Launches AI-Powered Trade Platform to Boost SME Exports

Suwon, South Korea – Suwon City, under the leadership of Mayor Lee Jae-jun, has announced the launch of its innovative 'Suwon-type SME AI Trade Center' aimed at revolutionizing international trade processes for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The city will be recruiting 50 companies on a first-come, first-served basis from February 3rd to March 7th to participate in this groundbreaking initiative.
The AI Trade Center is a cutting-edge platform that leverages artificial intelligence to automate complex trade-related tasks, significantly reducing processing times and operational costs for manufacturing SMEs. This initiative is part of Suwon City's broader strategy to enhance the competitiveness of its local businesses in the global market.
Key Features and Benefits:
Comprehensive AI-Powered Services: The platform offers 21 types of automated tasks across three key areas: export marketing, international trade response, and international trade advancement.
Enhanced Export Capabilities: Participating companies will benefit from AI-driven tools for creating export marketing materials, generating multilingual company introductions and manuals, and conducting foreign language correspondence and contract analysis.
Streamlined International Trade: The platform facilitates seamless negotiations with foreign buyers, provides insights into country-specific trade characteristics, and offers data analysis and export strategy consulting.
Cost and Time Efficiency: By automating routine tasks, the AI Trade Center enables SMEs to focus on core business activities and expand their global reach more efficiently.
Educational Support: Participants will receive a practical guide on utilizing AI for trade-related tasks, ensuring they can maximize the platform's benefits.
Program Details:
Suwon City will complete the system development by April and commence operations from May to December 2025.
The city plans to expand the program next year, increasing the number of supported SMEs to 100.
Interested SMEs can apply by downloading the application form from the Suwon City website (http://www.suwon.go.kr) and submitting it via email.
