The Brazilian branch of the Veterans Association will hold a luncheon event for Korean and Vietnamese veterans

The Brazilian branch of the Veterans Association (Chairman Lee Hyung-soon) held a luncheon event at 12 a.m. on June 25 at the "Sea Sashimi Restaurant" in Bonghechiro, Koreatown, Sao Paulo, marking the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War and comforting veterans of the Vietnam War.
A total of 16 warriors attended the event, including eight Korean War veterans and 13 Vietnam War veterans, and key figures, including Consul General Chae Jin-won of Sao Paulo, Police Consul General Kim In-ho, and Korean Senior Citizens' Association President Cho Bok-ja, attended the event to express their gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication.
The event was hosted by Choi Yoon-young, the president of the Women's Association of Veterans Affairs, and was held in a warm atmosphere, and Lee Yeon-sook, the senior vice president, also attended the event, adding to the courtesy of the veterans.
The event began with a national ritual, the singing of the national anthem, and a silent tribute to patriotic martyrs and patriotic spirits, followed by Chairman Lee Hyung-soon, Consul General Chae Jin-won, and Senior Citizens' Association Chairman Cho Bok-ja.
Chairman Lee Hyung-soon said, "On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, we will once again reflect on the noble sacrifice and patriotic spirit of our veterans through this meeting today. As we launched the Women's Association for the first time as an overseas branch, we will continue to work hard to ensure that practical support and courtesy continue through cooperation with the host country."
