Incheon Chamber of Commerce Offers Comprehensive IP Support for SMEs

Incheon, South Korea – The Incheon Intellectual Property Center (IIPC) is inviting applications from local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for its comprehensive three-year intellectual property support program.
From June 6th to July 17th, the IIPC will be accepting applications for the ‘2025 Global IP Star Company Nurturing (IP-based Overseas Market Entry Support)’ program.
Organized by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and Incheon Metropolitan City and hosted by the Korean Inventors Association, this program aims to select and support local SMEs with export potential, facilitating their entry into overseas markets and boosting exports.
Incheon-based SMEs with existing or planned export activities are eligible to apply.
Applicants must submit the required documents, including the application form, through the RIPC online system.
Selected companies will receive up to 50 million won in annual support, including:
Overseas rights acquisition (filing, official action, registration) cost support
Patent consulting
Design consulting
Brand consulting
Convergence consulting
On July 23rd, an informational session will be held at the Incheon Chamber of Commerce auditorium to explain the support details and application process.
“With a budget of 1.8 billion won this year, we plan to support a total of 60 companies with strong export potential,” said Kwon Ho-chang, the center’s director. “By actively nurturing these companies, we aim to significantly contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the local industry.”
