Some local governments, including government ministries, are already pursuing the introduction of administrative AI in earnest. The Ministry of Public Administration and Security has completed preliminary verification work since last year and completed the pilot development of an artificial intelligence administrative support service through collaboration with private companies such as LG and SKT. The Ministry of Science and ICT, which is also the government department in charge of artificial intelligence policy, also completed the development in April last year. By launching the 'AI Strategy Highest Threat Council', the highest level of public-private AI governance, it was announced that a total of KRW 710.2 billion will be invested to spread AI in daily life, industrial sites, and government administration to carry out 69 tasks so that the public can feel the benefits of AI.

Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province has announced that it has been preparing to introduce artificial intelligence technology into the administration since last year, but is not pursuing a full-scale introduction policy, and securing a budget for building an artificial intelligence server next year is also known to be unclear.
