[Global Economic Times] The women's bowling team from Bupyeong-gu won a bronze medal in the three-person bowling women's general team event at the 105th National Sports Festival.
In this tournament, which was held in Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do for 7 days from the 11th to the 16th, six players from Bupyeong-gu Office, Incheon City's only women's bowling team, participated as representatives of Incheon.
Among them, in the three-person team match held on the 14th, team captain Hong So-ri, led by Lee Jeong-min and Jeong Yu-jin, participated, showing solid unity and achieving the great feat of winning a bronze medal.
Kim Cheol-soo, the Bupyeong-gu Office bowling team coach, said, “It was a difficult journey as we participated in consecutive competitions following the Korea Sports Council season, but thanks to the players’ effort and hard work until the end, we were able to achieve good results, so I am grateful and happy to the players.”
