[Global Economic Times] The Ulju County Office Hattumi Ssireum team participated as a representative of Ulsan in the ‘105th National Sports Festival’ and achieved a total of 4 medals, including 2 gold medals in the individual competition.
Ulju-gun announced that the Haetumi Ssireum Team won two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal at the 105th National Sports Festival Ssireum Competition held at the Culture and Gymnasium in Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do from the 11th to the 17th.
In this competition, Noh Beom-soo won the gold medal in the director level (under 85kg) and Kim Moo-ho won the gold medal in the history level (under 105kg).
In addition, Jong-jin Jeong won a silver medal in the brave class (under 90 kg), and Gwang-seok Lee won a bronze medal in the major class (under 80 kg).
Previously, on the 16th, when the men's general individual final match was held, Ulju County Mayor Lee Soon-geol, Ulju County Council Chairman Choi Gil-young, Vice Chairman Jeong Woo-sik, and Administrative Welfare Committee Chairman Noh Mi-kyung visited the stadium to encourage the athletes and officials and cheer on the participating players.
Ulju-gun Mayor Lee Soon-geol said, “I am happy that the Ulju County Office Hattumi Ssireum Team participated as a representative of Ulsan and achieved good results at the National Sports Festival,” and added, “I hope that they will continue to be active as a Ssireum team representing Ulsan and Ulju-gun.”
