Kwale Governor Invites Investors, Seeks Indonesian Collaboration

Kwale, Kenya - Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani has extended an invitation to both local and international investors to consider investing in the coastal county, highlighting its natural resources and secure investment environment.
During a meeting with Indonesian Ambassador to Kenya, Dr. Mohamad Hery Saripudin, Governor Achani emphasized the county government's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for businesses to thrive. She outlined efforts to streamline business processes and attract investments across various sectors, including tourism, agriculture, and renewable energy.
The meeting explored potential areas of collaboration between Kwale County and the Indonesian government, such as:
Education: Offering scholarships to Kwale students for maritime studies in Indonesia.
Trade and Investment: Leveraging Indonesian expertise and resources to boost economic growth in Kwale.
Tourism: Promoting Kwale's rich cultural heritage and coastal beauty to international tourists.
