Mexico City, Mexico - Ángel Cardozo, a 28-year-old actor hailing from Paraguay, is rapidly emerging as a promising talent within Mexico's vibrant entertainment scene. Despite initial setbacks, Cardozo has steadily built his acting credentials through minor roles in various Mexican, Venezuelan, and American productions, sharing the screen with renowned actors such as Regina Blandón, Angelique Boyer, Shany Lozano, María Prado, Violeta Isfel, Arturo Peniche, Alberto Guerra, and David Zepeda.

Driven by his aspirations, Cardozo made the pivotal move to Mexico City a year ago, setting his sights on enrolling in the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA), Televisa's prestigious acting academy. However, his journey was met with unexpected hurdles as he faced four unsuccessful attempts at admission. Undeterred by these rejections, Cardozo's unwavering passion led him to discover alternative avenues, igniting even greater ambitions.

In a recent interview with local media, Cardozo reflected on his experience, stating, "Despite failing to enter the CEA four times, unforeseen opportunities arose, almost like a 360-degree turn. While the institution didn't accept me, I've had the privilege of participating in several Televisa drama projects, receiving direction and acting alongside CEA alumni."

He further elaborated that, despite not formally attending the CEA, he has been gaining invaluable experience and mentorship daily on set from both CEA graduates and seasoned professionals from around the globe. These collaborations are proving instrumental in shaping him into the accomplished actor he aspires to be.

Cardozo fondly recalled the moment he received his first script during the filming of Amor Amargo. "That project marked the first time I held a script, and I felt incredibly at ease," he shared. "A professor from CEA, who was coaching me, sensed my nervousness after learning about my journey from Paraguay to pursue my acting dream. He reassured me, saying, 'Ángel, take it easy, this is your moment. I'll coach you, I'll give you directions,' and thanks to him, I was able to deliver my first scene wonderfully."

While Paraguayans are widely known for their warmth, Cardozo offered his perspective on how Mexicans have treated him. "The Mexican people have made me feel right at home," he expressed. "They truly value foreigners and possess a culture of hospitality and solidarity."

Upon his recent arrival in Paraguay, Cardozo received a heartwarming welcome from numerous fans, including a fan club formed through social media. Various media outlets also covered his return, highlighting the growing interest in his burgeoning career in Mexico. He is scheduled to return to Mexico after a month-long stay in Paraguay and has already received several offers for local productions. However, Cardozo remains open to the possibility of staying in his homeland if a significant project arises.

"Initially, my return to Mexico is planned for May, but if a great project opportunity comes up, I might postpone my return," he added. "I am particularly excited about the prospect of appearing on a TV cooking program."

Acknowledging the relatively high cost of living in Mexico, Cardozo noted that his earnings as an actor help to cover his expenses. He currently benefits from legal residency in Mexico, facilitated by the support of a fellow Paraguayan. While his journey has not been without its challenges, this determined young actor from Paraguay remains steadfast in his pursuit of his dreams in the dynamic world of Mexican entertainment.
